Could drinking too much water prevent six pack abs?
I drink a ton of water, could this mean that im putting on water weight meaning that i wont get a good six pack?

Today's date January 9, 2012. Trying to be specific here lol I have about 6 months to get a six pack and I'm hoping to gt it done in at least 4 months.First of all, I'm a guy, age 14, I'm pretty skinny I just have a little bit of belly fat and my waisteline is about 28 29 inches.Second, please don't answer " Don't worry, your only 14 the fat will going away when you mature." Third, I need ways to burn the fat quickly without really dieting. I already have kind of a six eight pack but it's buried in about 2 3 inches of fat. I'm doing crunches, sit ups, bicycle crunches, legs lifts, side crunches, all that stuff. Please help.

How long to get six pack abs?
I've started working out recently 1 week in . By running and lifting weights. I'm trying to get a six pack though so i try to do alot of situps and crunches and planks. I run for 30 min 1 hour.Lift weights and do situps crunches planks for 15 min.Then i make this protein drink to helps my workout.Weight 135 Height 5'9I was wondering how long it will probably take me to get a six pack or atleast good looking abs, and also if i should be doing something else or if i'm doing something wrong.

I am 15 years old and over a short period of time gained six pack abs... how can I make them stand out more?
I do sports at the very minimum of two times a week, usually Rugby, Rock Climbing, Skiing, Fittness ect... what can I do to make them stand out more?I eat healthily most of the time....

This is serious. I want to develop a six pack or at least some good abs. I need some help drawing up a good workout plan. I can't get to a gym right now but I still want to do it. Here's my specifics. I'm Male White 22 years old 6ft tall 165lbs 12 % body fat 35 inch stomach circumference 30 inch waist pants size I run on a treadmill 4 5 times a week for 30 minutes each time at 4mph I do some situps and pushups but without someone to help I'm mostly just working the thigh muscles by sticking them under a couch to hold them down. I can tell I have ab muscles, but they are under a small layer of stomach fat. Nothing substantial. I have mostly broken my snacking habits. So that's not a big issue. My eating is not an issue that is mainly under control. I may need to count calories. If I can.I just need to work off that last little bit of stomach fat and replace it with muscle and form a six pack or some good abs. My question is what can I do to build defined abs. Is there stuff I can do inside my house exercises that will work or do I need to go out and do some intense working out such as manual labor, as in lifting? If so what kind? I need either a plan of action or some sites that will tell me what to do and you think will have pretty sure fire results.THANK YOU for any help. Please don't make any jokes or troll comments. I really am serious about this.I'm thinking of getting some home workout equipment such as a bow flex. Is that a good idea??I can't rely on getting equipment. So please don't base any answer around me getting such equipment. Maybe make it part of the answer but not dependent on my having equipment.ALSO I might join a gym if I get the money and time. Well I'm pretty skinny and I can feel the abs beneath my skin but they won't show. What exercises should I do to get them to show. I don't eat much I never have and I have a high metabolism. I can eat like anything and not gain weight . I want to look better than just skinny. I can't get to a gym Because of being 15 with no car or gym near me and all I have for equipment is one 25 pound weight. Just out of curiosity, one in how many Americans has a full six pack? And I'm not talking about a two pack, a four pack or some sort of definition you can kind of maybe see if the stars align magically.I personally only know three other guys with full six packs.

Is it true that it's (almost) impossible for women to have six-pack abs?
I have a friend who is a personal trainer and he said that due to the physiological differences between men women, the latter could never develop the same tight stomach muscles as the males. For example, I've been working out religiously for the past eight years and, while I'm toned, I look nowhere near like some celebrities. And I'm not looking at photoshopped magazine covers, just at their paparazzi picks. My friend also said that those women probably achieve their six pack abs by undergoing liposuction, drinking few liquids or extreme dieting. Is it true?

Six pack Abs...How Close Am I?
I find my self in a pretty difficult situation. I have been doing a LOT of cardio during the last eight and a half months, eating well, complex carbs, veggies, fruits, good lean proteins, only drinking water, etc... I have lost around 36 40 pounds during this time. My stomach is pretty flat. Im around 1.85cm high and weight 146 pounds.I have really been wanting to acquire a six pack, and I am still working on my cardio and just started doing ab workouts. The problem is, that even though I am fairly below 10 % body fat I still have something that covers my abs. When Im standing up normally you can kind of see my obliques not abs , and you can see my ribs, but I can still pinch something. My questions is here How do I know if this thing I can pinch is loose skin or actual fat? Everyone tells me I look really skinny But I don't know what to think about, if I still have a small amount of fat to cover and Im on the finish line, or is it just loose skin.
