Where can I find serious angel/private investors to fund real estate flipping investments in Chicago??
I have a successful real estate firm that buys, rehabs and sells single families and multi units. There is so much opportunity here in Chicago that I can't purchase property fast enough using money from banks because the approval process for each property is so time consuming that seller sell to cash or near cash buyers . I'm looking for investors willing to fund $100k or more. This will allow my firm to purchase and rehab property faster thereby allowing us to sell it faster. I provide a prospectus with all the property specs so the investor knows the details of the property. Where can I find an investor willing to fund these projects in Chicago???
Has anyone read any GOOD real estate flipping/investment books?
I am interested in the topic but there are lots of books available on the subject. I need recommendations from someone who has read a good book and then applied the knowledge learned.

Real estate flipping houses?
I am interested in flipping houses but not the typical way. My cousin Jen said she has made more money off her homes annually than her and her husbands actual jobs teacher and web designer They buy a home, live in it with their 3 kids, and fix it up for a bout a year then they sell and buy a new home and do the same thing. Is this a good idea? How could I do better? I was thinking about getting my real estate license, and maybe a degree in home decor? Is there such a thing? I'm a married sophomore in college any advice, hints or tips would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance
