Question: How do you get online with the playstation 3 with a regular ethernet cable.?

I know it sounds stupid, but I really want to. I live in a rural area so I cant get DSL or Broadband and i've read about ways to but you need an ethernet switch over cable not a reglar one

Go to Network Settings and set it up according to your connection. It will ask everything about internet connection. Select the WIRED connection and sooo on.
