Question on selling penny stocks?
So lets pretend a penny stock is currently trading at 0.005. Lets pretend current ask price is 0.006 and bid is 0.005. Its volume is 35,000. Lets pretend in 1 week time the trading is at 0.01 and it's ask price is 0.02 and bid is 0.009 all during market hours and it's volume is also around the 35,000 mark. So lets say i wanted to sell my stock now at the current 0.009 bid to make a profit. Lets say in the next 10 minutes this 0.009 will stand. So if i sell it now will i automatically make a profit since it's volume is at 35,000 or with penny stocks the it doesn't automatically sell like with ordinary stocks?

Last Oct. I purchased 1000 shares of a Mexican mining company after I saw some seismic results. It went from .33 share to 3.20 share by December, but now it's steadily declining and is now at 2.60. I've heard bad things about penny stocks, and don't know what to expect down the road. advise?I follow the stock almost daily. I'm just unsure because it has a history of this kind of activity. 5 years ago it was sitting around $40 share. This is my 1st buy, so you can understand my uncertainty.
