Getting A Payday Loan Homepage

Question: Is it legal to get a payday loan with your spouses checking account.?

Ok my husbands pay check gets deposited into my checking account so my husband took out several internet payday loans not knowing that the interest was so high. Now we are unable to pay the loans of and are working with a consuladater to have one low monthly payment. however i still need to close the account they have told me so that they can handle the payday loans. I allowed my husband to use my checking account because his check goes into the account. I am just wanting to know if that was legal or not. I thought it was but now after talking to a friend am worried that I may have gotten myself in some legal trouble. pleasee help. Thnak you!!

Is it joint, because most married couples have joint checking. I think it can be a point of contention in your marriage, because he doesn't have control of a checking account, that he puts his money in. Also your husband is stupid to do payday loans, but is he doing it, because you aren't letting him have money? last thing I will say, is go to a not for profit consolidator, or else your credit could be trashed even further.

So he took out *several* payday loans, but never took the time to READ the contract he was agreeing to? Never read about the 400% interest? Your hubby needs to stay far far away from any checkbooks, checking accounts, credit cards etc. He is a danger to himself financially if he signs things that he does not read or understand. Who is this consolidator?
