Can I buy a medical alert syatem from a pharmacy or drug store or do I have to order one online?
I am looking to get my elderly mother a medical alert system and don't want to have to order it online and wait for it to come in the mail. Where can I go to a store and buy one? Walmart? A pharmacy? etc.

Ok, so I m hypoglycemic Mostly a moderate one but sometimes it gets out of control like I start to throw up everything I eat, Headaches, feeling dizzy and my feet get loose Even two years ago when I was a senior in high school, I had a nearly hypoglycemic attack At that time I didn't know I was hypoglycemic I started to breathe very fast sweat all over body and all of a sudden my chest jumped up and my feet started to shake badly and uncontrollably, mostly what you call a seizure But I haven't experienced those attacks SERIOUSLY for like 2 years although sometimes it happens when I m in bed trying to sleep Should I wear a hypoglycemic bracelet since it is one of the 20 cases that are recommended to be wore?

I was born with a congenital heart defect so I wear a medical alert bracelet, and it came with one little red charm to let EMT's know it was a medical ID, but it looked bare and people would see the one charm and then ask & i didn't always want to flip my wrist over & show them the other side with my name and medical info so I started to slowly add little charms to it, turning it into a charm bracelet on the top part of my wrist. Is this OK? Aren't EMT's trained to look for medical alert bracelets anyways?

I am epileptic and want a bracelet so its not in people's faces like a necklace would be but paramedics would know to check. I really want a stretchy wristband for a coupla quid but they don't do those singly. I have Narcolepsy and need to update my medical alert tags. I was thinking about trying something different instead of " dog tags" . Does anyone know where I can buy nice medical alert jewellery? Ideally in a real shop as opposed to the internet. I have looked on the " ice gems" website but they are a little out of my budget.My current tags came from County Engraving and I bought them online.
