Does managing your diabetes get easier?
i was diagnosed in dec 07, i was just curious as to whether it becomes eaiser or not? i'm having a hard time adjusting, getting my sugars down, judging how much insulin to use, etc.i know it'll never become routine but does it get eaiser to figure out? i feel really crappy, nobody in my family has it, and i'm having a hard time relating to doctors who don't have it and aren't experiencing it. my friends are there for me and my family supports me but i just feel so freaking alone sometimes. so are you living a normal life? or as normal as it can be?
How do you manage your diabetes and depression?
Me 27 years old. Type 1 for for just over 9 years. Still can't seem to get myself together. My bloodsugars range from good to horrendous. I'm depressed for so many different reasons. How do you deal with this day to day?
How do you stick with a healthy diet to manage your diabetes when you work in a dietary mine field?
I am a weak woman. It is so easy to eat what is convenient. It is easy to eat snacks provided by my employer instead of preparing a meal when deadlines are bearing down on me.I know the risks of unhealthy eating. My aunt died from complications relating to out of control diabetes.
Can work make you go home to manage your diabetes?
Group leader said he doesn't have time to babysit. Do they have to pay wages? If not can he collect workman's comp or unemployement?
