I am 13 years old, 110 lbs. Last night I was playing volleyball, and since I had taken adderall, my appetite was nixed. I hadn't eaten all day except for a bowl of grits at breakfast, though I didn't realize it. I began to feel woozy, and then started seeing spots. My right ear went deaf, and my vision was almost gone. I nearly passed out, at that point I sat down. After several minutes I was feeling ok. My heart was absolutely racing, I calculated 156 bpm pulse after 15 minutes of sitting. I was sweating really bad. I drank about 6 8 fl.oz. of Lemonade, though I am unsure wether it had sugar or artificial sweetener.I went home and took my blood sugar first time in my life . It said 142. My mom said that's pretty high. She decided to do a home fasting glucose test. I didn't eat that night or in the morning. 9 hours after that test, all of them without food, my blood sugar was 120. I drank 6 fl.oz. of Orange juice, 15 minutes later my blood sugar was 124. Then, an hour later 1 15 m total after juice it was 152. I haven't had the reading after two hours yet, but I will add that soon. My mom says I may have type 1 diabetes. Is there anybody who has an opinion on this?I forgot to say that she made me eat some potatoes before I went to bed. I just took another test 2 15 after juice and it was 147. In the U.S., if there was a doctor to see it, he would have diagnosed. 2 consecutive readings over 126 mg dl is diabetes. She's not an idiot D

So I ate 31 popcicles in a row I'm not kidding and it's 6 grams of sugar for each one and I'm always eating my mom try to make me stop eating and my dad and I always eat Doritos it's been going on for 1 year know what shold I start doing

Is it true that diabetes can 'skip a generation'?There is a strong line of people in my family that have or had diabetes. All of my da's aunts and uncles on both of his parent's sides, bar one man, had diabetes, including his parents, which is, I believe around 14 people. They were all more or less diagnosed late 20s, early 30s. My dad, he's in his mid 40s and hasn't got diabetes. If this 'skipped generation' factor is true, do me 17 and my brother 20 have as high a chance of getting it as what our da does...? Diabetes is something we'd need to look further into now that we're growing up, it's not something we're entirely sure of, but thanks in advance for any answers, they're greatly appreciated
Why do i feel like i gave myself diabetes ?
I feel like this has been in my body and i didn't notice. Im sure if i have it but all the signs are there and i have been beating myself up about it. I keep praying and trying to read the bible to calm myself down and not think of any of the bad stuff
What could this be besides diabetes?
My symptoms are Excessive thirst to the point where my mouth waters when I think about drinking something My eyes won't focus I've been craving chocolate so much I have this hungry feeling like my stomach is completely empty even though I've eatenI've been faint After I've had chocolate I've felt all jittery and uneasy And idk whether this has anything to do with it but I've had shortness of breathe But the thing is just 2 days ago I was concerned about this and got my blood glucose levels tested about an hour after I ate muesli and it was 4.3 I've been tested before aswell and it's been negative. I do have fibromyalgia but these aren't the sort of symptoms you get with it really.
Could I have Diabetes?
Im 16 years old and have been noticing that whenever i consume a decent amount of sugar it is difficult for me to concentrate however my fating blood sugar level is only 88. I have also been peeing alot but its not alot of pee i just have to go often. What is wrong if it is not diabetes?
