Am I a good candidate for lasik surgery?
I am 25 years old and want to have lasik surgery for a very long time but I am very scared. I have lazy eye and a 600 degree of nearsightness and a 300 degree of astigmatism on my left eye and a 250 degree nearsightness on my right eye. I have been wearing glasses since age 5 and never wore contacts. My perscriptions haven't changed for many years. I don't have diabetes, glacoma, cataracts, dry eye, or other eye diseases. I want to see clearing without wearing glasses. Should I consider lasik surgery? If not, what should I consider? Please help. It is best if you are an eye doctor for lasik surgery. Thanks.
If ive got astigmatism in both eyes can i still get lasik surgery?
First I found out I had an astigmatism in my left eye and recently when I get my yearly check the doc said I had it in both eyes. He kinda said something about it being late to get surgery and contacts are pricey so for now I'm stuck wearing glasses cause its affordable atm. If I can get the surgery done ill be getting it in mexico where its a bit cheaper. Thanks in advance.
Questions about lasik surgery?
My vision is 20 20, but I'm slightly near sighted. I can see pretty well during the day, but when there's little light out, or I'm trying to read something from far away, my glasses are a life saver. My eye dr. says I'd be a good candidate for lasik. My questions are...1 What's the best age to get the surgery? I'm 23....are my eyes done changing shape by now? Or should I wait a few years? I just got glasses for the first time a year ago. I would hate to pay all that money then have bad vision again a few years later.2 what's the best vision I can have? Again, I currently have 20 20...... can they bring my vision up to 20 15? can it go even better?3 and the age old question how safe is it? I don't want to end up blind. it's a personal choice...if it's safe and a good route, then why not? Although my vision is good, everything becomes CRYSTAL CLEAR with my glasses. it helps me see the writing on the wall during school lectures, helps me see signs from far away when i'm driving especially at night and, most importantly, it's a convenience thing....I always forget my glasses at home...then I'm not as comfortable driving at night etc. It's only 4,000....which is a lot, but it really isn't when talking about vision.harley That's what I thought too....How could I possibly have 20 20 vision if the eye dr said I'm slightly near sighted...it doesn't make sense to me either But that's what they told me...harley I think i'm making it out worse than it is... I can see fine without glasses, and from a normal length away....my vision is fine. But when I put my glasses on, it feels like I have superman vision...everything is much more crisp in color, I can read signs ridiculously far away....it just makes life more beautiful. if i forget my glasses, I can get by fine.....but when i have them on, again, it feels like super powers since my eye sight is just awesome

Is there any cure of excess dryness problem in my eyes after lasik surgery?
i went to lasik surgery of eyes in dec. 2009. 3 days after surgery there was some extraction in my eyes. later i went to doctor he changed my drops to gel. i didn't bathed for a month. now whenever i wash my eyes i feel extraction and dryness in my eyes, i nose goes dry. while driving motorbikes i feel more dryness in my eyes and nose. if instantly i don't use drops, i suffer from severe headache.please advise me a doctor who can cure my problem. currently i use alcon tears natual drop and geteal gel.

jus wondering coz m using it from the next day itself but it dsnt feels i hv got done somthng in my eyes ,i have a good vision immediately after the surgery but it hurt a bit for som time time but like after 2 3 hrs its all gr8 i took rest on tht day n night but i really dont know if using computer does any harm i hv dry eyes sometimes..
Question of Lasik Surgery?
Basically the career i want to do the sight limits are 8.00 and my left eye is 9.00. So i thought i would lasik surgery as this is the only one of the surgery that they will accept. But the limit it 5.00. I was wondering is that the limit for correcting it down to perfect? Or just the correctable limit. I know this might be hard to explain but can they correct my eye to 4.00 better? and bring myself down into the limit or not be able to operate at all bnecause of my high prescription?

After Lasik Surgery can i avoid spectacles ??As i have got implanted new lens to one of my eyes but wear a spex due to little blurry in the vision .But after lasik can i avoid spex or still i need to wear it ???Will it be safe Lasik Surgery ??I use glass only while reading writing working on System. I have undergone C Lasik surgery 2 years ago from the best doctor at our place. I am 24 years old.The problem is that even after 2 years my right eye is very blurry and doesn't give me sharp vision which my left eye gives me. The vision is very blurry in my right eye and it makes me irritated. I have been carefully following the post operative procedure and putting the eye drops prescribed by the doctor. Eye drops are not giving any results. Here are the results after the surgery > Right eye SPH 0.25 CYL 0.50 AX 179 0.25 CYL 0.00 Left eye SPH 0.00 CYL 0.25 AX 146I have consulted with another doctor as well. He has done all the pre lasik checkups and I have told the doctor that my right eye is blurry. He checked the reports and told me that he doesn't seem any problem in my reports and the reports are ok.I told him that practically I am seeing blurry with my right eye to which he replied unless we are not able to diagnose your problem by doing checkups through our machines we cannot do anything because the problem is not diagnosed so it will not be possible to operate the right eye. Do I need an enhancement surgery??? Are there any risks involved if I go for further enhancement? Will enhancement surgery improve my vision??? Is my prescription treatable for a second operation??? I am really worried. I would really appreciate if you provide me your feedback. What can I do ???Please help..........Thank you so much for your time.
I hate allergy. Am i still safe for Lasik surgery?
I have pollen allergy.. my eyes itches often.. Am i still safe to do the lasik surgery? I'm scare that i might rub them without noticing it. and if i open my eyes in the water pool .. by accident, would it damage the eyes too?
