Will people come to my kids birthday party?
I am throwing a birthday party for my daughter who is turning 7. A few of her class mates have thrown parties and went fairly well 10 15 attendees. Now I am throwing a Birthday party but I am afraid kids won't come... I don't socialize much with other parents and do not know anyone really just barely like hello and bye. I do not want my daughter to be disappointing. Should I expect kids to show up? As a parent do most take their kids to parties or not? what would make you not go?Thanks ,.. I am just really nervous.
What food to serve adults at a kids birthday party?
I'm having a birthday party for my 2 year old tomorrow. The party will be from 10 1. I've got appetizers down and the kids are going to make their own small pizzas. What should I have for the adults for lunch?I thought about doing pizzas for the adults too but I won't be able to fit them all in the oven at once.I think I am going to do a sandwich platter. Is spending $500 on my kids birthday parties actually excessive??? My parents keep giving me crap about it?!?
We have three kids and i like them to have a nice birthday party. We are not rich people by any means, very much so middle class. Well, i have a budget for my kids parties of $500. My parents think its CRAZY. All they EVER did for me was the family cake and ice cream get up, maybe a few friends to stay the night. I think i only ever had maybe three actual birthday parties. So i decided my kids need to have fun and remember their child hood in a good way. My parents think im ridiculous for spending so much money on the party alone. I typically invite their whole class, and say one year i rented out our local pool, then another year i rented out a skating facility , then this year im renting out a small civic center and having a magician. Well they tell me to stop and just do cake and ice cream. I want to yell at them for making my child hood just cake and ice cream So, i dont think thats a high amount what so ever considering some parents spend thousands alone. I dont know.. what do i do about this.. all they do is bring so much negativity to the party.

There'll be things like pin the eye on the zombie, red splashed Dora the Explorer pinata, and a red velvet cake with chocolate frosting shaped like a skull.So, can you give me birthday games of 'the days'? I can twist them myself, I just need to have the games. Ideas?
Kids birthday party question?
my sons gonna be four and we are having a party at home as i cant really afford much. i have got some little white boxes i was going to make lunch boxes and decorate them with each kids name on, does that sound ok? and should i do a buffet for the adults too?or just the kids boxes?i have made a big banner saying happy birthday also and was thinking should i make some paper chains? or does that sound stupid? also does anyone have any ideas for what childrens characters i can do for posters?also, for the party games i thought pass the parcel, pin the tail on the donkey and musical statues and dead lions, the winner would get a bag of haribo jelly sweets does that sound ok? and in each layer of the pass the parcel i will put a lolly and a whistle toy.oh, and i've got 50 balloons, and a bob the builder cd, and an alvin and the chipmunks cd.do you think everything i have got planned sounds ok?i don't want people to think i am being cheap that's all, and does it all sound suitable for a 4 year old's party? thanks xno offence sweet t, but that sounds awful i cant have kids glueing and sticking, haha, what a mess oh, and as i said in the question, im on a tight budget, i wish i had 100 to spend haha, i love how thats supposed to be cheap, sorry, just wish i was in a situation that i could afford to spend 100 on pizza my budget is 30. for everything x
