Itunes won't sync to my ipod touch?
I recently got the new iPod touch 4th gen and i have been syncing it fine and it was great. But i had to restore my computer to factory defaults because its not been working properly and i reinstalled itunes and triesd to put some new music on my ipod but now its saying that my ipod is already synced with another itunes library and it said you have to erase whats on the ipod just now and replace it with the current itunes library. The problem is, i have nothing in the new itunes library because i restored my computer and wiped everything off it. I AM USING THE SAME ACCOUNT THAT I WAS USING BEFORE, so why isnt it working???? my parents could afford to buy me one sure and they know it , but they don't see why they should spend that much on me. i'm like the middle child so i guess that figures.. the annoying thing is that i work really hard at school and get top grades but i still don't get materialistically praised. so in my other question someone said to try and put effort to raise money for charity or just a fundraising event to show them that i work hard and then they'd get me an ipod touch. do you think it would work? can you give me some ideas on a fundraising thing i could do at school or after school.or something for charity that would raise a LOT of money NOT CAKE SALES PLEASE,,EVERYONE DOES THEM AND THEY ONLY RAISE LIKE 50 POUNDS something for a really good cause.ive got a really hard maths test coming up. if i get like 90 something percent do you think they would give in and get it for me? oh and how could i amaze my parents with the really cool features

How do I forcefully update my ipod touch 3g?
You see,my ipod was a 5.0 buti used a peice of jailbreaking used only for 5.0.1The end result A gray cydia app that fails to launch each time.and to add insultto injury,Safari,Email,and youtube doesnt work.I have tried updating via itunes but everytime it finishes and says " processing file" it gives me an error telling me the connection timed out which i doubt is the real problem.So i decided to download the software update straight from my web browser and have tried many times into getting itunes to use it because it says " firmware not compatible withthis ipod touch" which is also BS.Is there anyway to make itunes install the update on my ipod cuz it really is buuging me now that its lost a pretty fair chunk of funtionality.
My ipod touch has suddenly stopped playing certain songs, that i've played many times before. How do i fix it?
I recently got a new ipod touch for Christmas and bought all these songs and have played them fine and then suddenly yesterday i wanted to play a certain song and it wouldn't play. The picture was there but the time bar wasn't moving and i tried turning the power off and everything but it didn't matter.
