Reliable green energy information
How many years away are we from using Fusion or 100% green energy as our primary source of power?
What will be the main jobs created in the 'green energy' sector in the near future?
maybe all the jobs will be in solar energy? perhaps not pumping any more money into wind energy? Are most jobs in the sector as consultants?Any information welcomed
New idea for green energy?
I like to think of how energy is stored, used and transferred. So to me, the idea of green energy is just fascinating. So one day, after dismantling an already broken digital camera, I found the microphone inside and was thinking about what I should do with it. I wondered if it needed some special circuit boards to work or something but then I remembered the basic principle of a microphone. A microphone converts pressure changes in the air a.k.a. sound into electrical signals to be used as input for devices. And I thought what if I just hooked up the little microphone to a Christmas light bulb or an LED, would it light up? Instead of using those converted electrical impulses for sound input, what if they were used for plain old electricity They could be used as energy harvesters, recapturing the sound made by cars, trains or people in a noisy place and storing it in a battery for later use I knew of course that this might have several flaws. For one, I don t know if the electrical output of a microphone is significant enough without amplification which requires extra electricity or if it won t work on a large scale, or maybe it just won t work at all. I need some expert advice on this matter or helpful info, anything would be great Thanks
What is it doing to implement green energy?
You promised during your campaign the implementation of green energy, but we've seen little being done. Don't you think this would be a great opportunity to create jobs not just in the short term but in the long term?
Why is our alternate/green energy policy so slow to develop and become the logical solution to many problems?
Our great nation keeps discussing doing something about becoming less dependent on oil and all the side effects that are strangling our society and world. It makes absolute sense to go to as much renewable and green energy projects into motion as is humanly possible. Yet we are moving at a pace that makes Uncle Joe from the show Petty Coat Junction look like the Flash. We stand at the edge of an abyss in the time line of our planet and from where I sit it appears as if we might just jump into it if we don't come out of the oil dependent daze that we are in. PLEASE Mr. Obama wrestle away the control of our energy policy from the greedy oil gangs and get it back into the hands of sane Americans that have the vision to see our country and world going on to infinity. We should be at this increasingly critical period of the human time line doing everything in our power to incorporate a policy of energy development that is in the best interest of our world. As you already know and talk about it will create many jobs here in America and abroad and it will start to wean us off the deadly oil habit that we have acquired. I have a friend whom is a dairy farmer in upstate NY in the town of Chateaugay. He is married to 70 cows in a job that is never ending and he loves it. He tells me that for many years now he has been getting less for the milk than his father did 40 years ago. Many, many of his fellow farmers have folded yet he continues on. Then a few years back a great project of putting windmills up comes to the area. He is approached and he leases his farm for 5 years so they can investigate it with the plan being for several on his farm and yet the cows can still wander amongst them and he can still do what he loves to do. A beacon of hope in what had been an increasingly bleak looking future. Over 500 of the windmills go up and many farmers are out buying now trucks and equipment. Mountains of wire and transformers needed for the power grid are stacked on town land next to his farm and he patiently waits for his share of the wealth. Then the project comes to a halt and all the materials vanish. The reason is because the Canadian Hydro electric producers drop their price below what the windmills can produce at and what had been the answer to a prayer vanishes. So now we just wait for the next hiccup in the energy nightmare and the answer will not be in place. Mr. president your legacy should be that you were the one that got the country on the track to where it should be on the energy problem. That you were the one who had the balls to stop the oil gangs from ruining and raping our great nation. It just seems that logically we should be heading to as close to a green energy pan as is humanly possible. NOW is the time to act before it is to late.
Where could I found trusted people to give them my invention about concerning green energy production?
I have invented a new way to generate energy without the use of oil, wind, water or any thing else.Actually, I invented a device that moves around it self without any need to energy or help from anything else. It keep moving for ever My idea is making a very big sample of this small sample and converting the cycle movement into energy just like energy from winds.
What is your position on the use of taxpayer dollars to fund green energy companies?
What would some one study if interested in green energy?
i was just wondering because of everything going on in the world these days is there a such thing as a " green" degree
So what's the problem with sustainable/green energy?
I've never understood this ardent opposition to sustainable energy. Global warming climate change or not, what exactly is the problem with sustainable energy. I can understand why people oppose higher fossil fuel taxes and carbon caps and all...it pisses me off too. But honestly, what would be the harm in offering people tax breaks for installing solar panels or a wind turbine on their property? Or offering tax breaks to energy corporations if they build a geothermal power plant or wind farm or something. I just don't understand why anyone could be against sustainable energy sources. Is it because it's always associated with liberals? I'm pretty conservative personally, but I think sustainable renewable green energy is a wonderful idea.
Should we pass the no big oil subsidies act and invest in green energy?
I think we should We could but probably won't use the money to fund HUGE solar farms in like Nevada to power a LOT which would create thousands and thousands of jobs and would bring in like 100 billion dollars in my own figures over just ten years if we did put this into all green energy sources it could make the government twice it's money to invest in more THIS IS STIMULIS, JOB CREATION AND GREEN ENERGY ALL IN ONE. And surely is the only way the government will ever make America 100 renewable green energy WHY WOULDN'T WE DO THIS?
I want to make a project on green energy.?
i am student of class 10th. i want to make a good science project for science fair on topics " green energy" and " biodiversity" . the project should be easy enough for a student and should be enough tough for a student of class 10th. the project can be a working model or a still model... but the stuff for the project should be easily available in our indian market..
Green energy and quotas...?
If a private company in a country produces green energy, the government of that country can sell carbon credits to other countries and make a profit. What if a company produces green energy and sells it abroad, to another company or government. In this case does the country where the energy is produced still recieve quotas for its production?
Green Energy - Expert Opinion Questions?
I am working on a high school research project, and I need a few questions answered by someone knowledgeable in the field of green energy. It is the " ask the expert" portion of the project. If your profession has to do with this, I would be extremely appreciative if you could answer any ten of the below questions with your personal opinions and also include your name and occupation please, so that I can correctly cite you as my source .My paper is on the " Micromanagement of Green Energy" , encase you were wondering. It's condensed thesis is essentially Though large scale efforts by big corporations and organizations will help along the way, the true success of the global movement toward a greener world lies with individual efforts, such as recycling and energy conservation. You do not have to agree with that opinion. I would love to hear your true thoughts. And you don't need to be an expert in green energy, per se. Any occupation which can be related without too much convolution to the topic is just fine. But anyways again, any ten of the below questions answered, and you will be my hero forever 1.Who do you believe is currently making the biggest impact in moving society in a greener direction corporations, government, environmental groups, individuals, etc. ?2.What kind impact do you believe the above entity is making, in regards to a greener society?3.What do you believe was, is, or will be the most important technological innovation or advancement in the field of green energy?4.How do you think this new technology will change society as a whole, or the daily lives of individuals?5.As nonrenewable resources come close to exhaustion, what renewable resource, in your opinion, will prove to be the most applicable for powering society?6.Why do you believe this resource rises above the other potential renewable energy sources?7.How much of a role do you believe individual efforts, such as recycling or water conservation, will play in furthering the green movement?8.What measures, if any, do you think large scale corporations, or other environmentally minded organizations, can take or are taking to make a significant impact on the environmental scene?9.What country, or countries, do you believe are the most environmentally conscious?10.What practices occur in that location should be imitated in other areas order to lessen the environmental footprint of those areas?11.What do you believe is entailed in the micromanagement of green energy? 12.Despite many advances in solar efficiency, the technology is still not very widely used in America. What do you think it will take for technologies such as this to catch on in the general public?I appreciate the response, but this does have to be reported in a research paper. A bit more organization would really help. Also, please include your name and credentials, as I cannot use a nameless source. Thanks
Is Green Energy a giant fraud?
Look at the billions Obama gave to at least 5 different companies that produced no green energy and I guess they kept the money. Now it could be just another money laundering operation by the democrats, but either way, it's taking tons of money from the taxpayers with no results. And does that mean there's really no point in " green" technology? Is it all a scam?
