Which dog breed would be better german shepard or pitbull?
Any vets that can help me with my german shepard?
He's about a year and a half old. My dad accidentally ran his head over but didnt get to completely run it over like it was just stuck a bit. Well anyways, he got better and started to run around and everything as if nothing happened. But, now he can barely walk and his joints are very swollen. It seems like he has arthritis or something. He eats very well and drinks plenty of water. I'm not too sure whats wrong. My family can't afford a vet but we do give him vitamins everyday and some vitamin that helps add weight but he doesnt seem to get any better. He is up to date with his vaccines. Any ideas? Anyone?This was an accident, it's not that we can't keep a dog... So please no harsh comments. We are a normal family struggling with money right now and we are trying to see what the public has to say about this. Who would run over a dogs head on purpose? Like I said after that incident he was perfectly fine, just a few months later he got sick. We're trying our hardest to get him to a vet, trust me.
I have a 1 month old german shepard how much times a day should i feed him and in what quantity?
he is a little fat and gets inflated up like a balloon after a meal.....he sleeps a lot and is playful only very rarely....pls comment also on quantity of milk i should give him

Can a nine month old german shepard be dangerous?
He only barks and scratches at the door whenever he hears a stranger. No past interaction with strangers face to face., do you think a nine month old seventy pound german shepard can be potentially dangerous? Im going over to a friends house and she has the dog and i dont wanna get hurt.... I have to go though, its for a project.Im thirteen and kinda small for my age..
I have been asked to make a decision about my german shepard and im not sure what to do ?
She is 8 years old and has a heart problem therefor cant get out walks , she also has hip dysplasia and now her front legs are startin to go aswell ..the vet sent me home with her today but said i should start thinkin about whats best for the dog ..can anyone give me some advice ?

My german shepard/mastiff puppy was retching repeatedly but she drank some water and ate as soon as she got in?
Could this be bloat? She is now taking a nap and breathing normally, should i be concerned? She is 5 months old about 60lbs, the retching occurred after she ate another dogs food while playing outside and lasted for almost 3 minutes. Since bloat is common in mastiffs, and she was attempting to eat and run not advised I am concerned. She has since stopped retching and drank water. Any info on the subject would be helpful, I am mostly curious if a dog can keep food down after the stomach has flipped?
