Question: Who makes the best candles?

I love Yankee Candles because they last, and they have a strong scent. The only problem is how expensive they are! Anyone recommend any other brands that can be easily found (either online or at retailers, or in the NYC area)? Preferably less expensive than Yankee, but if you know of one that is just amazing let me know anyways no matter what the cost. Thanks!

Actually, I even like the Glade candles that you can just get in the Grocery Store or Drugstores.

My favorite brand is Mia Bella. I used to burn Yankee until I tried one and I like them much better. They are about the same price as Yankee, strongly scented, long lasting and no black soot. They can be purchased either from a local distributor or online directly from the company which is located in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
