(Posted by: on 2012-01-28 19:58:32)

Hello.. I just finished my first pack of birth control (I use Meliane btw which consists on 21 pills) and i've not got my period yet, i suffer from very irregular menses.. So should i take the 7- day break or should i start a new pack?

What did your prescribing nurse or doctor advise you to do? How many days along into your cycle are you? If you have just switched pills, or on a pill for the first time, it can take a couple or even a few cycles for things to even out. If you are just a day or two/ three late, and the doctor hasn't advised you to do otherwise, you may want to take the 7 day break, and keep on the schedule. I think if the doctor didn't advise you to skip the 7 blank pills, you should not skip them. But I'm not your doctor, and giving medical advice is not something I should do...I have no qualifications....

Birth control is really bad for your body. It causes migraine headaches, breast cancer, heart disease, heart attacks, strokes, blood clots, high blood pressure, uterine cancer, infertility, depression, uterine fibroids, unnecessary hysterectomies, and anxiety disorders, just to name a few. You shouldn't take it at all.
