Best birth control options for a woman who does not want to have kids?
I am in a serious relationship and I have been onthe pill for about 6 years. I am ready to try a new and more permanent method of birth control because I have a small sex drive on the pill. What is a safe and effective birth control method for women? Is an IUD a good idea?

Birth Control Options?

What is the best birth control option in my situation?
I'm in a long distance relationship. I visited my boyfriend once over the summer and we used condoms morning after pill awareness the day before I started my period . And we kinda figured out.. Condoms just don't work for us. He is coming to visit me in exactly one month.. I started my period about 24 hours ago.. My cycle usually lasts more than 30 days. So I should be starting my period on his last few days here. We were looking at different B.C. options, besides condoms. I don't want to use the pill depo nuvaring because I don't want to gain any weight extra hair other side effects when I will only need it for that one week and won't need it again until June. But he thinks that options like the sponge spermicide etc. aren't effective enough. What do you think is the best birth control option in my case? Will I even need any, or at least use something like just spermicide, considering I will not be in the fertile part of my cycle?
My bf lives in Australia and I only see him about twice/yr. Birth control options? ?
I don't want to get on birth control think it would be pointless & expensive but I also don't want to use a condom when we see each other. He'll be here for a week, and I'm going over there for 2 weeks in January. Any suggestions?
